Obituary

Kathy Williams, born March 17, 1968, transitioned from this world on April 3, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and kindness that touched the lives of many.

Kathy was united in marriage with Albert Williams on August 8, 2001, and together, they built a life filled with love and devotion. Their bond served as a testament to the enduring power of love.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Albert, four children, Sheila and Steven Smith, Stephen, and Shannan Gillenwater, and her cherished grandchildren, Ansley, Brinden, Jessie, Nate, Seth, Colt, Jackson, Levi, Cannon, and Pauline. Kathy's family was the center of her world, and she found immense joy in spending time with them.

Kathy was a dedicated member of the Faith Baptist Church in Slick, Oklahoma, where her presence was felt not only through her faith but also through her musical talents. She often graced the congregation with her beautiful voice and skillful piano playing, enriching the spiritual experience of all who gathered.

Outside of her church community, Kathy had a passion for painting and shared her artistic talents with those around her. She found solace and joy in creating beauty with her hands and had a special gleam in her eye when her loved ones argued who would receive her next project.

One of Kathy's greatest pleasures in life was spending time with her grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She cherished every moment spent with them, creating precious memories that will be treasured forever.

Kathy was preceded in death by her sister Karla and father Eugene McGuire.  She leaves behind her mother, Barbara McGuire; sisters Karen McSpadden and Kim Dykens;  brother, Steve McGuire and brother, Danny Wiggins. She shared a special bond with her family, particularly her mother, with whom she enjoyed the timeless tradition of quilting.

Kathy's vibrant spirit, infectious laughter, and radiant smile will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a ray of sunshine in every life she touched, leaving behind a legacy of love and joy that will continue to illuminate the hearts of those who knew her.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate Kathy's life will be held on Monday, April 8, 2024, at 2 PM at the Faith Baptist Church in Slick, Oklahoma.
