Obituary

Judith Solorio was born on November 5, 1943, in Fairfax, Oklahoma, to Marshall Jay and Georgia Rose Davis. She departed this life on April 7, 2026, at the age of 82.

Judy spent many years working as a waitress, a job she genuinely enjoyed because it allowed her to meet people, stay active, and brighten the days of those she served. At home, she found peace and joy in tending to her flower beds, nurturing the blooms that brought color and life to her world. Above all, Judy cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren—moments filled with laughter, stories, and the simple comfort of being together.

On July 4, 1987, Judy was united in marriage to Tony Solorio. They shared thirty‑three years of love and companionship before his passing on December 31, 2020. Their life together was marked by devotion, partnership, and a deep affection that endured through every season.

Judy is survived by her son, Tim Davis, and his wife, Luann; four grandchildren—Brandi Yurchenko and husband Dennis, Dr. McKale Montgomery and husband Scott, Dusty Davis and wife Kayla, and Haley Shoemake and husband Tanner; and eleven great‑grandchildren—Mady Gifford, Julia, Ella, and Gracie Yurchenko; Hunter, Walker, and Mary Davis; Logan and Sofia Montgomery; and Baker and Blakelyn Shoemake.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tony Solorio; her son, Roy McCormick; her sister and brother‑in‑law, Billie and Dusty Waymire; and her niece, Marsha Waymire.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Stroud Nursing home for their compassion love and care while Judy was with them.
