Joshua Halfmoon Wasson was a brother, dad, nephew, and the beloved son of Charlie Wasson and Carla Halfmoon.  He was born on April 11,1991 in Tulsa Oklahoma. And departed this life on March 31 2025.

Joshua was a Tulsa area resident most all his life. At a young age he began to work toward independence and was one to do things his way staying true to self.  He was currently working as an independent contractor.  Fitness was important to Joshua.  He often spoke about the importance of staying physically fit. He was often found at the gym.  Joshua was brought up being taught his native heritage and traditional ways.  This led to his love for dancing in the many different Pow Wows he attended.

Joshua is survived by his son, Elijah halfmoon Wasson; his two mothers, Charlie Wasson and Carla Halfmoon; half-brother, Devin Buck of Tulsa; his aunts and uncles, Bruce of Bristow, Howard and Carla of broken arrow, Melissa Gore of Kellyville, Jessie of Mannford, Toby of Sapulpa.
