John Fitzgerald Hickman was born March 24, 1964, to Eddie and Bertha (Lee) Hickman in Cushing, Oklahoma. He departed this life on August 18, 2026, at the age of 62 years.

John was raised in Cushing, graduating from Cushing High School with the Class of 1982. He was united in marriage to Buffy Vice on April 29, 1995. To this union three children, Presley, Gage and Blake, were born.

John enjoyed carpentry, woodworking and piddling or making things with his hands, camping, fishing and especially spending time with his family. John was quick to make friends and would do anything for someone in need.

Survivors include his wife, Buffy, of Drumright; two sons, Gage Hickman of Cushing and Blake Hickman of Drumright; siblings, Marilyn Hickman Bradley of Stillwater, Eddie Hickman and wife, Rhonda, of New Castle, Barney Hickman and wife, Dana, of Weatherford and Ronnie Hickman of Drumright; many other relatives and numerous friends. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his daughter, Presley Ann Hickman; two sisters, Julie Flager and Penny Talbert and great-nephew, Ephraim Bradley.

A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
