Joe Lynn Morris was born to Bud and Cindy Morris June 7, 1947 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  He departed this life November 5, 2024 at the age of 77 years.

Joe spent 50+ years in the construction industry working his way up to management positions before his retirement in 2023.  Never one to sit idle, he often found himself on adventure.  As a private pilot Joe spent countless hours in the air enjoying the freedom it gave.  Joe enjoyed river rafting, deer hunting and even crabbing off the coast of Oregon.

Joe is survived by his two children, daughter, Betty Black and spouse Kenny Payton; son, Rafe Morris and spouse April Talley; five grandchildren, Christopher, Robert and spouse Cassie, Traye and spouse Carly, Tara, Logan and spouse Ben; one brother, Paul and spouse Brenda; three great-grandsons, Caiden, Cooper and Carter; two great-granddaughters, Whitley and Parker.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Edward Leonard and two sisters, Vanna Gayle and Vickie Lynn.

Memorial services will be held 1:00pm, Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Hutchins-Maples Matherly Chapel.
