Jo Elane Moore, longtime Cushing resident, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018 in Linwood Village at the age of 83 years. The daughter of the late Odell E Pugh and Grace Poteet Pugh, Jo was born on September 28, 1934 in Terlton, Oklahoma. Jo was united in marriage to George Moore on February 25, 1962. The couple had lived in Tulsa, Cleveland and Gillette, Wyoming before moving back to Cushing. Jo enjoyed crafts, singing and making flower pen's, which she loved to give to waitresses or businesses around town. Jo was a member of the Cushing Christian Church and she loved taking care of the babies in the nursery. Survivors include her husband, George, of the home; children, Julie Cross and her husband, David, of Cushing, James Moore of Oklahoma City and John Moore of Cushing; sister, Carol Ann Chausse of Missouri; grandchildren, Jed Cross, Joe Cross, Jess Cross, Kelsey Moore, Mackenzie Moore, Garrett Moore and Kassie Mitchell and her husband, Mark; great-grandchildren, Brooke Adams, Cheyanne Cross, Sheamus Cross, Harper Mitchell, Maverick Mitchell and Griffin Moore; and many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Jo was preceded in death by one sister, Donna Westgate. Following Jo's request, no services will be held.
