J.F. Howard was born December 30, 1929, to Stacy Howard and Opel Pansy Cutbirth in Depew, Oklahoma.  He departed this life December 23, 2021, at the age of 91.

He attended public schools in Depew and at seventeen years old began his service to his country in the United States Army.

J.F. Howard and Olga Christine Bettis were united in marriage December 22, 1952.  From this union were born three children, Stacy, Lecrecia, and Delinda.

He had spent most of his life residing in McLean, Texas.  He was employed by El Paso Natural Gas for over thirty-one years.  During his tenure with the company, J.F. worked overseas in Algeria for six years.  When he retired, he lived in Beaver, Oklahoma and later decided to move to his hometown, Depew.

He enjoyed playing softball when he was younger.  As he got older, J.F. enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and working on the farm.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Olga Christine Howard of the home; one son, Stacy Howard of McLean, Texas; one daughter, Delinda Butler of Depew, Oklahoma; one brother, John Howard and wife Belinda of Waller, Texas; seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Lecrecia Huls, one brother, Bobby Howard and one sister, Suda Howard.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00PM, Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Oakdale Cemetery in Depew, Oklahoma
