Gerald "Jerry" Lee McDaniel was born January 1, 1947, to Clarence and Elouise (Whitehead) McDaniel in Chickasha, Oklahoma. He departed this life February 27, 2022, at the age of 75 years, 1 month and 27 days.
He spent most of his childhood and adolescent years in California. He attended school in Oroville, Palermo and graduated from Caruthers High School in 1966. He then entered the United States Army in 1967 serving three tours of duty in Vietnam. After being discharged in 1974 he moved to Oklahoma.
Jerry McDaniel and Vivian Morton were united in marriage December 17, 1976, in Bristow, Oklahoma. From this union were born three children, Jeremy, Ryan, and Lindsey.
Jerry worked as a trim carpenter for several years before deciding to move his talents to the farm.
