Jamie Wayne Simmons was born May 18, 1971, to Harold Wayne and Carol Lee Simmons in Cushing, Oklahoma. He departed this life August 29, 2022, at the age of 51. He graduated from Cushing High School in 1989. He then attended Universal Technical Institute in Houston where he studied Auto Mechanics. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, and playing pool. Jamie was an avid Oklahoma State Cowboy fan and loved Ford Mustang cars. He is survived by his parents, Harold and Carol Simmons; one brother, Shane Robert Simmons and wife, Latina; three nephews, Joshua Pritchett and wife, Abigail, Tyler Pritchett and Phenix Simmons; Grandmother, Thelma Thompson; three aunts, Linda Applegarth and husband Leamon, Betty Bright, and Karla Thompson; one uncle, Kevin Thompson as well as numerous cousins and other relatives.
