Jamie Irene McGuire was born December 5, 1977, to Daniel and Marilyn Abbott in Bristow, Oklahoma.  She departed this life August 9, 2025. At the age of 47 years.

Jamie grew up in and around the Bristow area.  She attended Bristow Public schools graduating in 1996.  Jamie and Terry McGuire were united in marriage June 8, 1996.  She was blessed with two sons and seventeen years before the marriage ended.  Jamie attended Central Vo-Tech and practiced as a Licensed Practical Nurse for many years before transitioning to in-home private care.  Jamie really was your stereotypical red head; bubbly with a gift for gab sometimes unleashing her fiery side on occasion; known as red by those close to her.  Jamie was a crafter at heart. A self-taught crocheter who upcycled everything turning nothing into something.  She loved her family, especially her kids and grandkids.

Jamie is survived by her parents, Daniel and Marilyn Abbott; two sons, Ian Lee McGuire and wife Kelsi and Tanner Dalton McGuire; one sister, Christie Walker and husband Charles; companion, Bret Keeling; one nephew, Shannon Michael Griffith; one niece, Riata Wynell Walker; two grandchildren, Maelyn Michelle McGuire and Maverick James Lee McGuire.  She was preceded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparents and infant nephew, Charles Wyatt Walker.
