James Ray Smith was born December 18, 1971, to Jim and Karen Smith in Lexington, Nebraska. He departed this life July 12, 2022, at the age of 50. He graduated from Ord High School in 1989. He had worked security for many different companies and was currently working at Cimarron Casino supervising the security guards. On November 8, 2017, James Ray Smith and Brandy Frazier were united in marriage. James enjoyed playing video games, especially Madden. He also enjoyed listening to music. He was diverse in his taste, listening to everything from rap, rock and contemporary Christian music. He will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Brandy Smith; seven children, Shauna Smith, Shantel Hulinsky, Shania Mae Johnson, Molly Bollig, Jason Smith, Josh Smith, and Caden Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son James Smith. Funeral Services are 2:00pm, Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at the Yale First Assembly of God Church.
