James Gerald "Jim" Parker was born August 13, 1933, to AT and Martha (Wilkins) Parker in Bradley, Oklahoma.  He gained his wings on July 31, 2022, at his home.

Jim worked for the City of Bristow for eleven years, retiring in 2019.  He was an avid racehorse trainer for many years. He was such a smooth talker; he could sell an igloo to an Eskimo.  Besides training horses, he loved to weld, which he was very good at it.  Most importantly he enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Cecilia Parker of the home; one daughter, Delores Smith and husband Raymond of Oklahoma City; seven sons, Jimmy Chandler of Tulsa, John Parker and wife Kristy of Poteau, Chris Chandler and wife Mellisa of Bristow, Dakota, Hayden, Hunter, and Conner all of Bristow; two brothers, Truman Parker of Kellyville, Glen Parker and wife Linda of Lexington, Oklahoma; one sister, Cleta Meder and husband Chet of Kasilof, Alaska.  He has fifteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and six great great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Donald, Billy, and Kenneth, one sister, Louise and one son, Jay.
