Jake Wayne Snell was born December 2, 2003, to Jason Snell and Erin (Rush) Snell in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He departed this life on June 29, 2023, following an automobile accident, at the age of 19 years.
Jake was raised in Olive, graduating from Olive High School with the class of 2022. He attended Central VoTech where he received his Deisel Mechanic Certification and CDL; he was currently working at John Christner Trucking.
Jake enjoyed going to the lake, eating out, especially at Texas Roadhouse, baseball and rodeoing. He loved spending time in the shop, whether it was hanging out with friends or working on trucks. Trucks were his thing; he enjoyed rolling coal and burnouts. His family and friends were very important to him; he will be most remembered for his kind soul and goofy personality.
Jake is survived by his parents, Jason and Erin Snell of Drumright; siblings, Heidi Snell and Rafael Perez of Bristow, Cara Snell of Drumright and Cade Snell of Drumright; grandparents, Lonnie and Betty Rush of Mannford; Bob and Martha Snell of Olive; uncle, Mike Rush and wife, Danelle; aunt, Stephanie Russell and husband, Larry; cousins, Michael, Maely, Austin and Alex; and other relatives and numerous friends.
Memorial services will be Saturday, July 8. 2023, at 10:00 a.m. in the Olive High School Gymnasium. The family will greet friends at the Matherly-Davis Funeral Home on Friday evening, July 7, 2023 from 5 – 7.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Matherly-Davis Funeral Home to defray funeral expenses.
