Jackie Lou Rogers was born April 9, 1949 to Jack and Adeline Winter in Tiffin, Ohio. She departed this life September 3, 2022 in Bristow, Oklahoma at the age of 73 years.
Jackie's first marriage to Randel Vanzant produced two beautiful daughters. In 1975, the family left California and moved to Harrison, Arkansas which has been her home for the next 47 years.
In 1991, Jackie married Jerry Rogers with whom she enjoyed 31 years of marriage. Jackie spent her years in Harrison going to the library to pick out a new mystery, watching her kids and grandkids grow, and substituting at Bergman schools. She was very witty and was very well known for dropping sarcastic one-liners. She didn't like to be the center of attention, but she was always there helping with what she could.
Jackie is survived by her husband; three daughters and one son, Debbie Atkinson and husband Jeff of Harrison, Arkansas, Shelly Horn and husband Eddie of Bristow, Oklahoma, Terrie Sue Rogers of Harrison, Arkansas, and Jerry Wayne Rogers of Harrison, Arkansas; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two granddaughters, Jessica Atkinson and Stormy Sharp; one daughter Sheila Rogers; two brothers, and one sister.
Memory Services will be held at Silver Valley Church in Harrison, Arkansas. Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 12:00 pm.
