Irma Lee Snowden was born February 6, 1928, to Charles and Nellie (Baber) Gooding in Cushing, Oklahoma. She departed this life on December 18, 2024, at the age of 96 years.

Lee was raised in Cushing, graduating from Cushing High School with the class of 1946. She was united in marriage to Robert Frank Snowden in 1947 in the First Christian Church in Cushing. To this union, three children Jayne, Gayle and Eric, were born. Robert preceded her in death in 2013.

Lee was a member of the Church of the Servant in Oklahoma City. She enjoyed tole painting, spending time with her family and was an avid Bridge player.

Survivors include her children Jayne Harrington and Eric Snowden; two grandchildren, April Harrington and Alaina Brooks and husband, Jeff; two great-grandchildren, Keaton and Farren; one sister, Imogene and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Lee was preceded in death by one daughter, Gayle Snowden; siblings, Helen Martin, Glenn Gooding, Florence Gaither, Esther Williams, Harold Gooding and Kenneth Gooding.

Graveside services will be 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 21, 2024, in the Fairlawn Cemetery.
