Hazel Iris Pixley was born in Napa Valley, California on August 28, 1942 to Wanda and Houston Pixley.  Later in Oklahoma she was joined by brothers, Jerry and Bobby.

In 1960 she and her brothers were adopted by Loren Earl Bryant in Tempe, Arizona.  Hazel graduated from Buckeye Union High School in 1963 and married Harold Tilley that same year.  She continued helping and enjoying the farming life in Casa Grande, Arizona and through the next several years they moved back to Buckeye and adopted two children, Jerry Dean and Kelley Diane.

In 1991 Hazel married Gail Trask while still residing in Buckeye she owned and operated a gift shop for several years.  In March of 2018, with the assistance of her brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Linda, Hazel and Gail moved to Cushing, Oklahoma, where they resided for approximately two and a half years, then to her sudden decline in health they moved out to the farm in Maramec, Oklahoma with Bobby and Linda where she received very special care from Linda both night and day.  Hazel, having Alzheimer's, had to be placed in a memory care unit in Bristow, Oklahoma until she passed on March 18, 2022.

Hazel's love of her life was always about children.  If you wanted to see her smile just hand her a baby!  She was a very spiritual person and knew that someday Jesus would come and take her home to be with all the ones that had gone before!

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and a son, Jerry Dean Tilley.  Hazel is survived by her husband, Gail, brothers Bobby and wife Linda, and Jerry and wife Sue.  Grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins and many friends.
