Hazel McGuire was born October 9, 1932, to James Richard and Mable (Gamble) Dervin in Greenbrier, Arkansas. She departed this life on February 3, 2025, at the age of 92 years.

Hazel was united in marriage to Charles McGuire on June 2, 1978. She received her LPN certification from Central Area Vo-Tech and had worked for Tulsa Regional before her retirement. Hazel enjoyed sewing and spending time outdoors working in her yard.

Survivors include her husband of over 46 years, Charles; two daughters, Dana Brown and Donna Wyant and husband, Curtis; stepchildren, Shirley Watkins, Pam Williams, Becky Vaughan and Lori Tiger; brother, Jim Dervin; daughter-in-law, Denise German; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by two sons, Tommy Workman and Luke Matherly; daughter, Debe Stephens and husband Larry Stephens; brothers, Lee Dervin and Nolan Dervin; sisters, Loma Morton and Linda Berry and grandson, Danny Stephens.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. on Friday, February 7, 2025, in the Chapel of the Matherly Davis Funeral Home with burial following in the Sunrise Cemetery in Kellyville, OK.
