Harold Gene Butler was born June 15, 1977, to Carla (Butler) Schexnider in Lawton, Oklahoma. He departed this life on February 2, 2022, following an automobile accident.

Harold was united in marriage to Misty Butler on April 5, 2008, in Cushing. Harold was a member of the Native American Church in Stroud. He enjoyed fishing, outdoors and OSU football.

Survivors include his wife, Misty, of the home; mother, Carla Schexnider of Cushing; sister, Marie Franklin and husband, Brian, Sr. of Cushing; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Harold was preceded in death by one daughter, Ellie Jean Butler.

Graveside services will be 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, February 5, 2023, in the Butler Cemetery with Brother Dale Butler officiating.
