Gladys Marie Baker was born on June 11, 1951, to Everett Lee and Betty Jean (Stanley) Herring in Cushing, Oklahoma. She departed this life on July 24, 2026, at the age of 75 years.

Gladys was united in marriage to Tommy Dale Baker on July 10, 1967, in Cushing; to this union four children, Dusty, Christina, Christopher and Marshal, were born. The couple had been married over 52 years when he passed on August 7, 2019.

Gladys was a member of the Lifeline Assembly Church. For several years she worked as a caregiver and helped her husband with his construction company. She enjoyed fishing, camping, cooking (she was known for her rolls, bread and chicken noodles) and visiting with others.

Survivors include her children, Dusty Baker and wife, Tammy, Christina Funkhouser and husband, Bob, Christopher Baker and Marshal Baker and wife, Sherry; grandchildren, Travis Baker and wife, Brittany, Ashlee Molder-Smith and husband, Corbyn, Winter Griffith and husband, Clark, Emily Eaton and husband, John, Daniel Hood and wife, Tori, Jonathan Barentine and wife, Kacee, Nickelus Barentine, Gracelynn Baker, Brynlee Baker, Mason Baker and Samual Baker; seventeen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nelda Castillo and husband, Joey, and Floria Wikel; sister-in-law, Dixie Fox and husband, Larry; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, Gladys was preceded in death by siblings: Diane Mullin, Eddie Herring, Gertie Leverich, Joe Herring and Wayne Herring.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 31, 2026, in the Lifeline Assembly Church. Burial will follow in the Maramec Cemetery.
