Gary W. Roberson was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to Bill and Floriene Roberson, on April 8, 1949.  He passed from this life on July 17th,2026 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

In 1967 he graduated from Depew High School, Depew, Ok.  Sometime a little later he graduated from the University of Texas in Arlington, Texas.  Gary lived for several years in Fort Worth, Tx and Arlington, Virginia.  Gary always liked to travel, late in the 1960's or early 1970's he took off from Depew, to Galveston, Tx, in a 1962 Chevrolet Nova.  His father and brothers really didn't think that Nova would make it to Galveston and back.  He enjoyed traveling, going many places in the United States, France, and England.   Gary was a member of Coweta Independent Baptist Church in Coweta, OK.

He was preceded in death by his parents.  Surviving are two brothers, Gerald (Myra) of Collinsville, OK and Ronald of Hays, Ks. Nieces, Gera (Bryan) Wright, Erica Goodrich. Nephews, James Roberson, Jonathan Roberson, and Jake (Tasha) Roberson. Great nieces Brianna Roberson, Brynna Wright, Abigail Roberson, Chloe Roberson, and Myla Roberson. Great Nephews, Tag Goodrich, Seth Wright, Knox Wright, and Lincoln Roberson.

Gary's final destination was reached on Friday, July 17th when the Heavenly Father called him home.

Graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 22nd, at 11:00 a.m. at the Oakdale Cemetery in Depew, Oklahoma.
