Gary Don Calvin was born October 29, 1960 to Charles Calvin and Helen Richburg in Bristow, Oklahoma.  He departed this life July 17, 2022 at the age of 61 years.

Gary grew up in and around the Bristow area and was a Bristow High School graduate.  He was a current resident of Muskogee, Oklahoma.  Gary worked for Monte R. Lee Engineering in Oklahoma City as an inspector and field representative; a job he enjoyed.  He loved to travel and spend time with his family.  His grandchildren were the light of his life and brought him great joy as he watched them grow.

Gary is survived by his wife, Tonya Calvin of Muskogee; three daughters, Brittany Cannon of Tulsa and Alesha Wheeler of Muskogee and TJ Breeana McMahan; two sons, Gary Bryce Calvin of Tulsa and Jimmy Griner of Muskogee; two brothers, Kenneth Carson of Warner, OK and Roy Messer of Bristow, five grandchildren, Ayden Carte, Haylo McMahan, Chloe Cannon, Ashland Wheeler and Morgan Wheeler all of Muskogee.  He is preceded in death by his mother Helen Messer of Bristow; grandparents, Alva and Ruby Richburg of Bristow; uncle, Bob Richburg of Fyfe, Alabama; and great-grandparents, Ben and Kitty Blackwell of Bristow.  There will be a friends and family gathering from 10:00am - 4:00pm, Tuesday, July 26th at Hutchins-Maples Matherly Funeral Chapel.
