Gail Lee Slawson was born July 23, 1947 to Meryl Leroy and Dorothy Elizabeth Greer in Baltimore, Maryland.  She departed this life August 10, 2021 at the age of 74.

She graduated from Bristow High School in 1965 and later attended Oklahoma State University.  On September 3, 1967 Larry Slawson and Gail Greer were united in marriage.  From this union was born Sheri.

Gail enjoyed quilting, sewing, crocheting and knitting as well as living the "lake life".  She was a very talented quilter and taught many quilting classes where she shared her knowledge and fabrics with others.  Gail enjoyed spending time with her family as well.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Slawson; one daughter, Sheri Romero; two grandchildren, Allison Romero and Royal McClain; one sister, Carole Greer-Ellis; a sister-in-law Sheri Tomiello, husband Don Tomiello and nieces Kendra and Kelsey Tomiello.  Also, many cousins and aunts.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Dot Greer.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation in her name.

Funeral services are 11:00 am, Monday, August 16, 2021 at Hutchins-Maples Matherly Funeral Chapel.  Interment will follow at Bristow City Cemetery.
