Sylvia Gail Haskins was born July 6, 1955 to Kenneth and Sylvia Spears in Bristow, Oklahoma.  She departed this life August 4, 2022 at the age of 67 years and 29 days.

Gail, as she was known by all, grew up in and around the Bristow area.  She attended Bristow Public Schools and was a member of the Rainbow Girls.  Gail Spears and Troy Haskins were united in marriage February 7, 1974.  They made their home in Depew building a life together full of love, laughter and joy.  Gail balanced the work at home along with caring for her children and whoever else she could take under her wing.  Gail was a member of and attended church at the Bristow Christian Center.  She had a heart full of compassion and a need to serve others.  She loved gardening and greatly enjoyed fishing.  Gail's countless hours in the kitchen filled the home with an aroma that could make anyone hungry, and she was going to make sure you were fed.  Family was her life; she loved unconditionally, cared deeply and found purpose daily; living fiercely.

Gail is survived by her husband of 48 years, Troy of the Depew home; two children, Evelyn Gann and husband Danny of Depew and Troy Wayne Haskins and wife Brandi of Bristow; four siblings, Linda Darlene Spears, Connie Sue Wilson, Kenneth Ray Spears and wife Jennifer and Chuck Crawford and wife Dayna; two grandchildren, Gus Haskins and Abby Haskins; she was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Marty Spears and William Ray Spears.

Funeral services will be held 10:30am, Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Bristow Christian Center.  Interment will follow at Oakdale Cemetery in Depew, Oklahoma.
