Evelyn Faye Clayton Devin was born on December 24, 1925 to W.H. Clayton and Nora Belle Green near Beggs, Oklahoma.  She was one of fifteen children born into the family.  She went to her Heavenly home on the January 19, 2022 at the age of 96 years and 26 days.

She attended five different schools, growing up in Lovette, Genelle, Model 60, and Mountain Home 60.  She graduated from Bristow High School in 1946.

On April 10, 1943, Evelyn Clayton and Orma Claude (O.C.) Devin were united in marriage.  From this union they had two sons and a daughter, Orma Joe Devin, Randy Eugene Devin and Darla Marie Devin Adcock.  She had five grandchildren, Michael Joe Devin, Kristy Diane Devin, Stephanie Marie Adcock, Amber Lyn Adcock and Jared Michael Adcock.

Evelyn was a member of the First Baptist Church in Depew and also a member of O.E.S. (Order of the Eastern Star).  She enjoyed fishing trips, writing poetry, playing the piano.  She also liked painting - with her family being her favorite subjects.

She is survived by daughter, Darla and husband Mike Adcock of Bristow; granddaughter Kristy and her husband Derrick Meador of Cushing; daughter-in-law Linda Devin of Depew; granddaughter Amber and her husband Joey Johnson of Bristow; grandson Jared Adcock of Oklahoma City; great-granddaughters Abby Johnson and Jovie Johnson; great-grandsons Kaden and Kyson Meador, Jonah, Jered and Jackson Johnson; great-great granddaughter Ellie Tayte; two sisters-in-law Mrs. Lawrence Clayton, Doris Evans and her husband Clarence; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of lifelong friends.  She is preceded in death by her husband, O.C. Devin, sons Orma Joe Devin, Randy Eugene Devin, grandson Michael Joe Devin and granddaughter Stephanie Marie Adcock.

Funeral services are 11:00 am, Monday, January 24, 2022 at Depew First Baptist with Reverend James Lame officiating.  Interment will follow at Oakdale Cemetery in Depew.
