Eva Mae Jones was born October 9, 1948, to William Dorsey and Flora Pearl (McGee) Irving in Modesto, California. She departed this life on January 25, 2025, at the age of 76 years.

Eva was raised in California. She was united in marriage to Elmer Leo Jones, Sr. on October 13, 1964, in Carson City, Nevada. To this union five children, Elmer, Kim, Richard, Tonya and Yvonne, were born.

Eva was passionate about caring for others, making sure everyone else was taken care of. She also loved spending time with her grandkids.

Survivors include her husband, Elmer, of the home; children, Elmer Leo Jones, Jr. of Cushing, Kim Jones and partner, Scott Williams, of Cushing, Richard Jones of Cushing and Tonya Piatt and husband, Matthew, of Cushing; one brother, William Jesse Irving of Ceres, California; twelve grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Eva was preceded in death by one daughter, Yvonne Jones; two great-grandsons, Lucus Floyd and Nathan Floyd and four sisters, Ruth Maines, Doris Holcomb, Pearl Osborn and Barbara Thorne.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, in the Shamrock Cemetery with Pastor Toby Tiner officiating.

The family will greet friends on Monday evening from 6 – 8 in the Family Center at the Matherly Davis Funeral Home.
