Errol Glenn Cox was born September 17, 1945 to William M. and Mildred (Abbott) Cox in Los Angeles, California.  He departed this life on March 31, 2022 at the age of 76 years.

Errol was a Sapulpa High School graduate.  Following graduation, he joined the Navy, serving his country honorably for the next four years.  Errol worked as a baker for Wonder Bread Company until his retirement after a career that spanned 35 years.  He loved being outdoors and enjoyed working in the garden during the summer.  As well, Errol enjoyed cooking steaks, ribs or ham out on his smoker.  Most of all, he loved to fish and hunt and go camping, especially with his son John.  He made many trips to Afton for a weekend of fishing or camping.  He regularly attended Freedom Hill Baptist Church and he was a fun-loving person who will be sorely missed.

Errol is survived by his son, John Cox and Tiffany Silkey of Afton, Oklahoma, as well as two daughters; and one sister, Barbara Leach of Mannford; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and infant daughter, Kimberly Dawn Cox.
