Elgin Kenneth
"Kenny" Factor Jr.
Jan 13, 1972 — Oct 8, 2022
Elgin Kenneth "Kenny" Factor Jr. was born January 13, 1972 to Elgin and Shelia Factor in Claremore, Oklahoma. He departed this life October 8, 2022 at the age of 50 years.
Kenny grew up in and around Stroud, Oklahoma. He attended school in both Stroud and the Indian School in Tahlequah. Kenny was a lighthearted fun-loving man who brought a smile to many. He was employed with the Cherokee Nation at the Hard Rock Casino in Catoosa where he was recognized for many achievements. Kenny was baptized at a young age in the Salt Creek Methodist Church in Holdenville, Oklahoma. He and his mom Shelia traveled to nearly every art and craft show at Native American events and Pow Wows. There he helped his mom sell hand crafted art but could just as easily get lost watching the dancers and listening to the music. The Sac and Fox Pow Wow and the Seminole Nation Festival were two of his favorites. Kenny was a huge fan and big supporter of OU sports; football and basketball as well as OU girls' softball were what consumed his time when there was a game to watch. He dearly loved his chihuahua, Shelia who passed away a few short months ago.
Kenny is survived by his mother, Shelia Factor; nephews, Hunter Ross, Ron Shockley and wife Amber Howlingcrane; nieces, Tessa and Haley Shockley; great nephews, Michael Shockley and Braden Howlingcrane; uncle Mike Bigpond and aunt Liz. He was preceded in death by his father, Elgin Kenneth Factor Sr; sister, Angela Ross and paternal and maternal grandparents.
