Edna Hiawatha Edsall was born April 2, 1933 to Charley and Cordie Kerley in Bristow, Oklahoma.  She departed this life October 21, 2024 at the age of 91 years.

Edna, better known as Hiawatha by church family and friends, was a pillar in the First Freewill Baptist Church and Bristow community.  Hiawatha worked many years as a waitress.  She loved the interaction and conversations with those she served.  Faithful she was to her Lord and Savior; Hiawatha could be found most Sundays singing her praises during worship.  She had a voice for the Lord and enjoyed singing.  Her kind spirit and joyous nature was most evident in the love she showed to all. Time spent with her grandchildren always brightened her day.

Hiawatha is survived by one son, Steve Skeen and Wife Suzan of Tucson, Arizona; one brother, Pat Kerley of Ardmore, Oklahoma; one sister, Georgia Ann Stone of Oklahoma City; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Edsall; son, Kerley Allen Skeen; two brothers and four sisters
