Doye Dwayne Holderfield was born January 19, 1937, to Joseph and Nola Holderfield near Depew, Oklahoma.  He departed this life June 3, 2023, at the age of 86.

He attended Bristow Public Schools.  He was united in marriage to Marguerite Hayes and from this union were born three children, Mitchell, Dwayne, and Lisa.

Doye worked in the oilfield for Halliburton, H&H Cementing, and Bristow Hot Oil service.  He enjoyed doing projects around the house and working in the yard and garden.  He could often be found solving the world's problems at the coffee shop.  Doye was grounded in his faith attending the New Covenant Church in Stroud for over 25 years.

He is survived by two sons, Mitchell Holderfield, and Dwayne Holderfield and his wife, Wendi; grandchildren, Amber Allison, Jesse Abraham, Joe Fenton, Patric Holderfield and wife Shannon, Tylor Holderfield and wife Kelsey and Olivia Etchison; great granddaughter, Emma Joan Holderfield.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Nola and Joseph Holderfield, sister, Alma Coppedge, and daughter, Lisa Abraham.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Dementia Society of America, 188 N Main St, Doylestown, PA 18901.  A private family service will take place later.
