Dorsa Lea Martin was born to Hurshell William and Lela El'Nora Isenberg Gosnell on December 2, 1931, in Cushing, Oklahoma.

She attended school in Cushing before the family of four moved to Colorado. Dorsa attended school in Cortez and graduated from Cortez High School.

She married the love of her life Charles Wilbur Martin on June 2, 1951, in Farmington, San Juan, New Mexico, and was his constant companion wherever and whenever he went.

Dorsa was a devoted wife and helped her husband in many diverse endeavors. Her favorite being the breeding and racing of their many thoroughbred horses.

Although she had no children of her own, she was a loving mother figure to her many nieces and nephews. She was a loyal and compassionate friend.

Dora passed peacefully on September 15, 2022, in Stroud, Oklahoma, at the Stroud Health Care Center South nursing home with nurse Amanda holding her hand. She was 90 years 9 months and 13 days old.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, three brothers; Bobby Gene (wife Carolyn), Billy George (surviving wife Sue, and Donald Jay, and two sisters; Patricia Cleone Gosnell, and Carolyn Marie Hubble (husband Alfred). She is survived by one sister, Donna Kay Tanner (husband Leon) and one brother, Hurshell William Jr. (wife Kathy) and many nieces and nephews

She will be missed by all who knew her.
