Dorothy Hope Wolff was born January 1, 1926, to Eugene Hetzel and Ina (Pence) Hetzel, in Roosevelt, Oklahoma. She departed this life on June 29, 2023, at the age of 97 years.

Dorothy was raised in Roosevelt, Kendrick and Guthrie, graduating from Guthrie High School. She was united in marriage to Herman L. Wolff on January 1, 1945 in Cushing and to this union four children, Norman, Larry, Dale and Howard, were born. Herman preceded her in death on November 16, 2002.

She was a member of the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer. She enjoyed farming, cooking and sewing; she did everything from alterations to using feed sacks as material. She worked as a salesclerk for JC Penney, Montgomery Ward and C.R. Anthony's.

Survivors include her children, Norman Wolff and wife, Carol, of Cushing, Larry Wolff of Oklahoma City and Howard Wolff of Cushing; daughter-in-law, Mickey Wolff; sister, Rita Walezak of Chesterfield, Missouri; grandchildren, Charles Wolff and wife, Andrea, Amy Shanley and husband, Ryan, Laura Wells and husband, James, Erik Wolff, Christi Wolff, Kyle Wolff and wife, Nicole and Brandon Wolff; fifteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by one son, Dale Wolff and 9 siblings.

Memorial services will 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 6, 2023, in the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer.
