Doris Turnbull was born July 2, 1926, to Orvell and Eunice (Williams) Massey in Depew, Oklahoma.  She departed this life February 18, 2022, at the age of 95.

She graduated from Gypsy public schools.  On June 25, 1946, Doris Massey, and Kenneth Lavern Turnbull.  They enjoyed 60 years together before his passing January 5, 2007.  From this union were born two children, Gene, and Elaine.

Doris enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and cooking.  She loved her family very much.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Galatian, and husband Richard; five grandchildren, Alison Fischer and husband Robert, Diana Galatian and husband David McCrary, Kate Galatian, and husband Tyler Burroughs, Launa Turnbull, Joshua Turnbull and wife Heidi; two great grandchildren, Eleanor & Miriam Fischer; brother-in-law, Johnnie Baker. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Gene Lavern Turnbull and two sisters, Orvilene Schaublin and Rita Baker.
