Donald Hugh Armstrong was born March 7, 1936, to James and Hazel (Rishell) Armstrong in Cushing, Oklahoma. He departed this life on April 15, 2024, at the age of 88 years.

Don was raised in Cushing, graduating from Cushing High School with the Class of 1954. He then attended Oklahoma State University. He worked for APCO and then Ethel Corporation as a chemical salesman, retiring in 1988.

He was united in marriage to Luann Lukens on June 4, 2020. He was a member of the Cushing Christian Church. He enjoyed playing golf, collecting firearms and food.

Survivors include his wife, Luann; children, Janet Riley, Terry Armstrong and wife, Julia, and Gary Armstrong; one brother, Tom Armstrong and wife, Judy; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Janette.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, April 25, 2024 in the Cushing Christian Church with Pastor Jim Forrest officiating.
