Dolly Bucktrot was born March 21, 1956 to Mitchell Howard Ford and Antha Sanford Burchett Ford in Kremmling, Colorado.  She departed this life June 9, 2023 at the age of 67 years in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Dolly was a kindhearted soul who cared for everyone who crossed her path.  She worked diligently to shape and develop young minds as a teacher with the head start program.  She always lent a hand where needed, giving of her time and talents.  Dolly Ross and Robert Bucktrot Jr. were united in marriage, March 25, 2011 in Miami, Oklahoma.  They enjoyed 12 years together.  Dolly was one to stay busy around the home caring for her grandson whom she loved like her own.  She was an avid fan of OU softball and football.  She loved the Lord and attended church with her son, Joe regularly.  She loved being "nana" to her grandkids and sharing picnics in the sun with them. She was proud of her sons and spoke of them often. Dolly was an impactful person who touched many lives leaving everyone with a smile.

Dolly is survived by her husband, Robert Bucktrot Jr. of Bristow; two sons, Joe McElhaney and Tristan Bucktrot; two sisters, Julie May Hess of Arkansas and Barbara Fay Lasher of Oklahoma; three brothers, Jimmie Howard Ford of Wichita, Kansas, Billy Edward Ford and Tommy Lee Ford of Arkansas; as well as 10 grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Mitchell and Antha Ford; one son, Sam McElhaney and three sisters, Betty Jean and Mary Ann Ford deceased as infants and Ada Viola Ford Hess
