Diana Lea Ballard was born October 25, 1955, to Eual and Wanda Wood in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  She departed this life February 5, 2025, at the age of 69.

She graduated from U.S. Grant High School in Oklahoma City class of 1973.  She adored her children, Jason, Justin, and Jessi.  She worked at several jobs around town including daylight donuts, Bud's convenient store but the job she enjoyed the most was being mom and Nanny.

Diana enjoyed crafts, gardening, and writing.  She was also an avid Oklahoma Sooner Football fan. She enjoyed life and was always doing her part to brighten the day for those around her.

She is survived by three children, Jason Ballard and wife Summer, Justin Ballard, Jessi Ballard and husband Michael; one sister, Radonna Smith and husband Larry; nine grandchildren, Bryce Ballard, Jais Ballard, Danielle Craft, Meia Ballard, Jemya Ballard, John Bennett, Jazmyn Bennett, Jaylah Bennett, and Michaela Bennett.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, John H. Ballard Jr.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00AM, Monday, February 10, 2025, at the Hutchins Maples Matherly Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at McGee Cemetery in Stratford, Oklahoma.
