Denise LeAnne Munsell was born December 17, 1960, to Dennis and Nancy (Secrest) Harmon in Raton, New Mexico. She departed this life on February 27, 2024, at the age of 63 years.

Denise was raised in Vega, Texas and then moved with her family to Andrews, Texas when her dad was transferred. She graduated from Andrews High School with the class of 1979. She was united in marriage to Mickey Munsell on July 25, 1980, and to this union two children, CheyAnne and Tanner were born.

Denise loved to travel. While working for Dr. Fielding, someone told her to take advantage of traveling while she could and that is what she and Mickey did; they loved the beach, traveling to Mexico, camping and exploring the world.

Denise had many hobbies: she won a saddle roping, she and Mickey would help their kids with show pigs and cattle, they followed Tanner around with wrestling, she had a tanning salon at her home where she memorized her clients numbers and would let them know when their appointment was and she loved her greenhouse. Denise was a 12-year cancer survivor. She loved making countless memories with Mickey, her children, grandchildren and friends. To know her was to love her. She was the life of the party, the Nana to ALL kids, the best cook and home décor designer.

Survivors include her husband, Mickey, of the home; children, CheyAnne Lang and husband, Heath, of Cushing and Tanner Munsell and wife, Ashley, of Elida, New Mexico; brother, Mike Harmon of Andrews, Texas; grandchildren, Tucker Lang, Reatta Munsell, Tatum Lang, Tyson Lang and Sage Munsell and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Cimarron Harmon.

Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M., March 2, 2024, in Crossway Church in Cushing.
