Debra Susan Mathews was born August 7, 1955, to Bobby and Jane Whaley in Bristow, Oklahoma.  She departed this life March 18, 2025, at the age of 69.

Debra graduated from Depew High School in 1973.  She had two daughters, Jayme and Dayna.  She had previously worked at McDonalds in Stroud.

She enjoyed going to the casino and spending time with her dogs, especially Gigitte.  Her life evolved around spending time with her grandchildren.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughters, Jayme Stedman and husband Nick, and Dayna Crawford and husband Chuck; sister, Marilyn Fortney; brother, Michael Whaley; grandchildren, Nakota Reed and wife Kierra, Makayla Stedman, Bradley Stedman, Chaney Crawford, Garrett Crawford, and Kaitlyn Crawford; great grandchildren, Shayne Reed, Maya Worthy, Vada McCarty, Ezerah Stedman, and Haylo Reed.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Jane Whaley, husbands, Dallas and Dewayne.

A family and friends gathering will be hosted at the Hutchins Maples Matherly Funeral Home chapel Friday, March 21, 2025, at 4:00PM.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the funeral home to assist with the cost of the service.
