David Reid Alexander was born June 29, 1961, to Arnold Reid and Sonoe Alexander in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.  He departed this life July 10, 2023, at the age of 62.

David graduated from Kellyville High School in 1979.  On May 22, 1982, David Alexander and Ronda Boomer were united in marriage.  From this union were born two sons, Jeremiah, and Justin.

Shortly after graduation he began working at John Zink as a welder.  He recently retired after 42 years of service where he served as electrician and lead man.  He was a faithful member of the Rejoice Church in Owasso, Oklahoma.

He had many hobbies, including fly fishing, specifically at the Roaring River, taxidermy, camping, and hunting.  He was also an artist, which included painting and drawing.  David also had a special relationship with his dog "Chester".  He was very patriotic and proud of his country.  David had lots of special interests but his passion in life surrounded his family.  He was so proud of the young men his sons had become.  He adored his grandchildren and counted a special day when he was able to spend with them.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Ronda Alexander; two sons, Jeremiah Alexander and wife Sara, Justin Alexander and wife, Heather; one brother, Lee Alexander and wife Janettia; four grandchildren, Paisley Alexander, Keaton Alexander, Josiah Alexander, and Adelyn Alexander; five nephews, Darin Alexander, Brian Boomer, Jeff Boomer, Kevin Boomer, and Dustin Boomer; four nieces, Dana Frost, Anisa Jones, Kayla Boomer, and Cortney Rochester. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00AM, Thursday, July 13, 2023, at Rejoice Church in Owasso, Oklahoma with interment to follow at the Bristow City Cemetery.
