Danny Scott Hill was born May 28, 1962, to Freeman and Maggie Hill in Talihina, Oklahoma.  He departed this life August 23, 2021, at the age of 59 years, 2 months and 26 days.

Danny grew up in and around the Depew and Gypsy area of Creek County.  He was a 1980 graduate of Depew High School.  Danny had resided in Tulsa the last five years after moving from Bristow.  Danny and Marceline Biggoose were united in marriage in Miami, Oklahoma; to this union were born five daughters.  Danny returned to school being trained as a CNC machinist and worked in this field for numerous years.

Growing up, Danny enjoyed playing softball at Depew High School. He also liked playing horseshoes.  He loved his OU football.  Danny watched all sports that included basketball, but OU football was his favorite.  Time with family was very important to him.  The grandkids could keep him busy for days and he would enjoy every second of it.  He would talk with family for hours; there was never enough time to visit and catch up.  As well, Danny loved music; he had a playlist and played it loud.

Danny is survived by five daughters, Dana Hill, Erin Hill, Tara Hill, Kylie Hill and Stevie Hill all of Bristow; one sister, Maxine Bucktrot; two brothers Riley and Franklin Hill, sixteen grandchildren; two uncles, Wilson Hicks and Hanson Hicks, both of Okemah; and one aunt, JoAnn Powell of Bristow.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Marceline Biggoose-Hill; two brothers and one sister.

Funeral services are 2:00 pm, Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Hutchins-Maples Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jimmy Hicks officiating.  Interment will follow at Hill Family Cemetery.
