Chris Douglas was born to Geneva and Wayne Douglas July 25, 1948 in Pueblo. Co. He has a younger brother named Billie. He was raised by his Uncle Ernest and Aunt Hazel Spriggs here in Bristow, with their daughter Norma Helen Hampton. They loved him dearly and raised him up in church. They wanted him to lead a Godly life.

He graduated from Bristow in 1966. In December 1969 he enlisted with the United States Marines and served honorably until his medical discharge. He went to college at University of Central Oklahoma, in Edmond, and received a Bachelor of arts degree in Psychology. It was in college that he met Charlotte Pannell, they fell in love and were married September 25, 1970. They had 3 kids together in their 18 years of marriage. Christopher Douglas, CharLeigh Madeiros and Chauntay Beck.

He worked for Department of Human Services in Oklahoma and Arkansas his whole life.

He later married Diann Dodson and lived in Warren Ak. along with her children, Lesa Kilpatrick, Samantha Skelton and Jason Ryan. They adopted 3 children together DJ, JJ, and Chriann. 

He is survived by his brother, Billie, children Chris (Marcy) Douglas of ND, Charleigh (Tony) Madeiros of OK and Chauntay (Jesse) Beck of OK and his 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

He is proceeded in death by his wife Kathy Diann Douglas, his parents, and his adopted son DJ.
