Charles Earl Schmidt was born March 5, 1953 in Mankato, Minnesota; the youngest of seven children raised by his parents Ruth and Billy Miller. He passed from this life October 11, 2026 at the age of 73 years.

Charles Graduated Robbinsdale High School. Charles began a career with Burlington- Northern Railroad. A career spanning twenty plus years before his retirement. He enjoyed working as a switchman and this helped provide for his family. He and Lori were married in East Bethel, Minnesota, in November of 1991 giving them nearly 35 years together with a blended family. Charles and Lori made Bristow, Oklahoma their home in 2003 just after his retirement. Charles always enjoyed bowling with different leagues and woodworking was a skill he fine-tuned when given the opportunity. Charles loved to dress as Santa for the Holidays and was well known for bringing happiness and cheer to the residents of Rainbow Nursing Home. He had a deep love for animals. Charles Loved fostering Dogs who needed a home and volunteering with Paws here in Bristow.

Charles is survived by his wife, Lori; two children, Heidi Beauchaine (Scott), and Kristina Houston; Six siblings, Peggy Schmidt (Duane), Steve Schmidt (Roberta), Joelien Zasterow, Jean Cuffell9Ed), Tracy Thorstenson (John) and Billy Miller; six grandchildren, Mackenzie, Sean, Caleb, Cailynn, Casey and Cami as well as one great grandchild, Sage. He was preceded in death by his parents Ruth and Billy Miller.
