Charlene Rae (McMorris) Lyons passed away October 20, 2025, at the age of 90. Charlene was born on September 18, 1935, in Bristow, Oklahoma. She lived in Sand Spring for many years.

Charlene is preceded in death by her parents, Bula (Dix) and George McMorris. She survived by her sister, Ruth and husband Jim Jackson; three children, Denise Mascho, John Lyons, and Deanna Lyons; niece and nephew Laura Lee Jackson, and Drake Jackson; grandchildren Douglas Mascho and wife Heather, Jessica and husband Daron Bender, Jenea Mascho-Heilaman, Bobby Don and wife Haylee Lyons; Rachel and husband Joel Butler, Codie and wife Mikayla Woods, and Stacey and husband Ryan Neal; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Charlene worked in various clerical/secretarial positions, including Sand Springs Public Schools, Eastside Christian Church in Tulsa, and First Christian Church Sand Springs. She was also a member of the Sand Springs Community Choir.

Charlene provided a home to many a stray dog during her lifetime. The family requests in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to S.T.A.R (Sandite Team Animal Rescue) https://www.starok.org/

Services will be held Friday 11 a.m., October 24th, 2025, at Hutchins Maples Matherly funeral home, Bristow.
