Cecil Gene Flood was born April 9, 1943, to Frank and Cynthia Flood in Depew, Oklahoma. He departed this life August 21, 2026, at the age of 83.

Cecil proudly served in the United States Army, answering the call to serve his country with courage and commitment. He shared many stories about his time as a paratrooper with the “Screaming Eagles”101st Airborne. Throughout his life, he worked many jobs, always known for his strong work ethic, steady presence, and willingness to lend a hand wherever it was needed.

A kind‑hearted man, Cecil carried a gentle spirit that drew people to him. He loved playing the guitar, finding joy in music and the moments it created. He also enjoyed spending time at the casino, where he found fun, friendship, and a little adventure.

Cecil will be remembered for his generosity, his easy smile, and the warmth he shared with everyone who knew him. His life was simple, honest, and full of heart — a legacy that will continue to live on in the memories of family and friends.

Cecil is survived by his daughter, Cherie Lombrana; three brothers, John, Larry and Gary; one sister, Naomi and countless nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Rex, Gerald and Jackie; as well as three sisters, Bonnie, Betty and Patsy.
