Obituary

Cecil Glen Davidson was born on October 10, 1938, to Jess Samuel Davidson and Cathryn (Ravia) Davidson in Cushing. He departed this life on January 6, 2023, at the age of 84 years in Tulsa.

He was united in marriage to Betty Ray Smith on November 26, 1955, in Bristow; the couple established their home in Cushing and had resided here since that time. They had three sons, Bobby, Gary and Michael. Betty preceded him in death on November 10, 2011, after almost 56 years of marriage.

Cecil enjoyed watching westerns, especially Gunsmoke and Bonanza. He loved to listen to music, so much so that they built their own pool hall at their house. They would have live music or the jukebox playing while playing pool or snooker table.

Cecil owned his own Marble business in Cushing from 1962 to 2020. He made products for bathrooms and kitchens as well as items for new construction projects.

Survivors include one son, Gary Davidson and wife, Tammye, of Cushing; two daughter-in-laws, Clarice Davidson of Cushing and Linda Davidson of Cushing; seven grandchildren, Billy, Cynthia, Bradley, Amber, Justin, Kevin and Ryan; numerous great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.

In addition to his parents and wife, Cecil was preceded in death by two sons, Bobby Davidson and Michael Davidson; two brothers, Bobby Davidson and Bill Davidson and one great-grandson.
