Cecil Riley Antley III was born November 16, 1950, to Cecil R. Antley Jr. and Colene Antley in Charleston, South Carolina. He departed this life June 15, 2024, at the age of 73.
He served his country in the United States Air Force from 1969 to 1972 as a Air Freight specialist. On May 3, 1974, Cecil Antley III and Linda Burbage were united in marriage. Together they raised two children, Donald and Dorothy.
He worked as a construction superintendent. He was a member of the Bristow First Church of God. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles and bicycles, and traveling. He dearly loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them as well as his friends whom he cared for as family.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Antley; one son, Donald Phillips and wife Alisha; one daughter, Dorothy Bozard and husband David; one sister, Debra Wolfe; four grandchildren, David Lee Bozard II and husband Hovig, Mendel Phillips, Hunter Phillips, and Delia Bozard. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Richard Antley, and one sister, Terry Antley.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00AM, Saturday, June 22, 2024, at the Bristow First Church of God with Reverend Brent Hinkle officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charitable organization of your choice. An additional service is pending in Moncks Corner, South Carolina.
