Catherine Jean "Cathy" Pickett, longtime Cushing resident, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at the age of 62 years. The daughter of William Pickett and Glennell Blunt Pickett, Cathy was born on March 10, 1960, in Kimball, Nebraska, and was raised and educated in the Fort Collins, CO. and Brighton, Co, area, graduating from Brighton CO. high school. Cathy was a member of the First Baptist Church and was the church secretary for many years. She also worked for the Davis Funeral Home and for C. G. Martin Company in Tulsa. She is survived by her mother, Glennell Pickett of Cushing; two brothers Mike Pickett and his wife Kim of Moore, OK, Jeff Pickett and his wife Jana of Midland, TX; one sister Melanie McCool and her husband Tony of Cushing; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, William Pickett. A Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm Sunday, July 17, 2022 in the Matherly Davis Family Center. Memorial Services are pending at this time.
