Carolyn Sue Willey was born June 3, 1946 to Ervin and Edith Gore in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  She departed this life September 11, 2023 at the age of 77 years.

Carolyn, first born of eight, grew up in and around the Milfay area and was a 1964 graduate of Milfay High School.  Carolyn Gore and John Willey were united in marriage June 19, 1964.  To this union were born five children.  She and John made their home in the Sapulpa enjoying 39 years of marriage before his passing October 6, 1999. She remained until her recent move to Bristow.  She worked tirelessly around the home doing all the things a wife and mom does and so much more.  Her home always held an open invitation; the doors open with abounding love.  Carolyn loved family gatherings, filling her home with love, laughter and full bellies after a home-cooked meal.  She was a spunky lady affectionately known as "Nanna" by everyone.  She loved to tease, getting a rise or smile out of whomever she could.

Carolyn is survived by three children, Tammy Ferguson and Husband Richard, Gwennetta Colley and Husband Larry and Wesley Willey; fifteen grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John; one son, Johnny Ray Willey; one daughter, Suzie DeShazer; granddaughter, Lacy Krause; two sisters and five brothers.
