Bonnie Frances
Harrington
Nov 20, 1937 — Jun 29, 2025
Milfay
Bonnie Frances Harrington, born November 20, 1937, in Milfay, Oklahoma, to Daniel and Dorothy Anderson, passed away on June 29, 2025, at the age of 87.
Bonnie attended school at Milfay and Shamrock Public Schools. On September 19, 1952, she married Billy Harrington, and together they shared 59 years of marriage until his passing on June 2, 2011. Their union was blessed with four children: Tommy, Dianna, Terry and Joyce.
A devoted mother and homemaker, Bonnie also worked part-time at JCPenney and various other retail stores. She enjoyed these roles, as they gave her the opportunity to meet and visit with many people.
Bonnie found joy in the simple pleasures of life—gardening, fishing, reading, and crocheting. She especially loved playing cards and dominoes with her sisters. One of her greatest joys was teaching her grandsons how to fish. For Bonnie, nothing was more important than time spent with family.
She is survived by three children: Tommy Harrington, Dianna Allee and her husband Dick, and Terry Harrington; three sisters: Charlene Benson, Judy Bradford, Linda Hobbs and husband Rick; three grandchildren: Lance Allee and wife Cheyanne, Andrew Harrington and wife Karen, and Melissa Maeder and husband Nathan; seven great-grandchildren: Judd, Ande, Josh, Hannah, Krystal, Emma, and John; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Billy; her daughter Joyce Harrington; five brothers: Bob, Danny, James, Steve, and William Anderson; one sister, Mary Brickey; her grandson, Tommy Harrington Jr.; and one great-great-grandson, Judd Harrington Jr.
Bonnie will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the deep love she had for her family.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the Emerald hospice staff for their compassionate care during Bonnie's final days. A special thank-you also goes to Deana Mitchell, whose kindness and support brought comfort to both Bonnie and her family.
