Bobby Gene Rogers was born September 9, 1944 to Fred and Joan Rogers in Bristow, Oklahoma.  He departed this life July 18, 2026 at the age of 81 years.

Bobby was a lifelong Bristow area resident.  He and Lois Conaway were married December 12, 1964 in Drumright, Oklahoma.  They made their home in Bristow and set out to build a life together and raise a family, which they successfully did for 56 years until her passing in 2021.  Bobby worked many years as a butt fusion specialist with Dupont/ McElroy.  He traveled often training people within other companies to master his craft.  When he wasn't working, his time and attention were with his family.  Bobby supported his children and later his grandchildren wholeheartedly.  He shared in their trials and triumphs and lived daily for the joys they brought.  Bobby traveled the world, some with his family and other times, with his greatest friend and traveling buddy, Bob Biffle.

Bobby is survived by his son, Bobby and wife Aprill; daughter, Susan and husband Bill; one brother, Stanley Rogers; five grandchildren, Amanda Gibson, Matt Gibson, Taylor Rogers, Zach Rogers and Braxten Rogers as well as seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Bill Rogers; three sisters, Jewell Dean, Anna Mae Meeks and Louise Tooley.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 am Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Magnolia Memorial Gardens.
