Bill Ken Ward was born September 3, 1941, to Bill Henry and Fairie Valentine Ward in Vanderbilt, Texas.  He departed this life September 19, 2023, at the age of 82.

He attended Terlton public schools before his family moved to Gypsy where he graduated in 1959.  He was a union electrician IBEW 584.

On December 13, 2002, Bill Ken Ward and Paula Morrow were united in marriage.  He loved the outdoors including working on cars and his place.  He enjoyed attending his grandkids sports and school events as well as raising fighting chickens and racing horses.  He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Paula Ward; three children, Randy Ward, Kim Ward, Greg Ward and wife J.J.; five brothers, Carroll, Jerry, Steve, Oscar, and Andy Ward; two sisters, Sharon Hawkins and Eileen Knecht; Grandchildren, Nicole Welch (Kevin), Kirstie Bain-Holloway, Kennedy Farthing (Spencer), Braden Ward (Sierra); two great grandchildren, Ezra Ward and Daxton Bain-Holloway.  He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Frances Bowers, brother, George Ward, and grandson, Shane Ward.

Graveside services are scheduled for 12:00 (Noon), Saturday, September 23, 2023, at the Oakwood Cemetery, Wewoka, Oklahoma.
